The Leader Local Sports Stars is calling for nominations of people with exceptional sporting talent.
There are five categories to enter.
Athletes who display great sportsmanship, achievement and dedication are able to enter the Junior Sports Star Individual category (for 18 years and under) or the Senior Sports Star category if they are over the age of 18.
The Team of Excellence category is open to teams of all ages who display the same qualities. There is a maximum of 20 people per team and one winning team will be awarded for Victoria.
The Service to Sport category is open to volunteers or club members of local community sporting organisations who have provided outstanding support to their club.
And, last but not least, the Jim Dowsley Inspire Award is an open-age category awarded to an athlete who has overcome incredible obstacles to be able to excel in their chosen sport.
