As many of you will already know, Dan Andrews declared a State of Disaster for Victoria last night and tighter COVID-19 restrictions came into place. A curfew is now in place for metropolitan residents that starts at 8pm each night and ends at 5am. You may leave your house during the day for the purposes of purchasing food and essential supplies, giving or receiving care, exercise and work or study that cannot be done from home. New COVID-19 Rules

Due to an alarming increase in COVID-19 cases in Victoria, the State Government has tightened some rules that were due to relax. From now on, households are limited to 5 visitors at a time and outside gatherings are limited to 10 people. Story continues below… Residents in the hotspot areas, including Hume, are being encouraged not to travel outside of their area and people are being urged to avoid traveling to the same areas.

McDonalds Sunbury has been closed for a deep clean after a delivery driver was found to be infected with COVID-19. The McDonalds restaurants that are affected by the closures are Sunbury, Calder Highway Inbound and Outbound, Melton East, Taylors Lake, Campbellfield, Hoppers Crossing, Riverdale Village, Sandown, Laverton North, Yallambie and BP Rockbank.
