This week marks the opening of the final part of the Elizabeth Road extension. The road, which connects with Vineyard Rd, will offer an alternative for drivers wishing to avoid the town centre and the roadworks at the Gap Rd/Horne St roundabout. It also means that residents in the new estates around Racecourse Road will be able to get home without going through the traffic on Horne Street.
